hi...i am having a port placed on tuesday...a lymph node that looked huge on an utlrasound biopsied and the breast tumor re-biopied on thursday, then bone scan/cat scan as well the same day....my question is, where did you buy your hats from...i'm not into scarves, and not really sure i want a wig....and i can not find any decent button down shirts that are not tight fitting, or pink...and honestly...i'm not that big into pink! thanks,

Hats----- I bought straw hats from Target, Charmin Charlie's, TJMaxx, Ross, Marshall's.

Button down shirts- I shopped in the Men's department of the some of the stores I mentioned for hats.

I had lots of ball caps (mainly wore when I was running & occasionally when I was cold).

Before chemo I went to the ACS for a free wig & wig fitting (never wore the wig - it was just like my hair - just chose to go au naturel.

The ACS did have oodles of hats. The gal who helped with my fitting let me take as many as I wanted. It was Winter & I thought I'd like being a hat lady. Ended up it was an unseasonably warm Winter - so I didn't use too many of them. I'm thinking they'd be too warm for Houston ;-)
