Anyone had a TAG reconstruction?

TAG reconstruction is when they use upper thigh skin and fat instead of from the tummy. The result is a thigh lift...instead of a tummy tuck. I know that not all PS do this. They do it at the Breast Reconstruction center in New Orleans, and, I would guess PL would do it in larger cities. It is an interesting concept. I am probably going to have TE when I have my BMX because I do not live in a large city, but would consider this, if possible, at time of exchange. I do not have enough tummy tissue and fat.

    Hi, Just saw this question now. I had the TUG flap done in January at the time of my BMX. Unfortunately, the flap failed during surgery. Since the tissue/muscle had already been harvested from my thighs, I had the same recovery as if the reconstruction had been successful. So, if you have any questions about the recovery from TUG flap, just feel free to ask!
