Lumpectomy done today

hi again. I had my lumpectomy today and will get results at my appointment on Thursday. For those who have experienced getting diagnosed, does the dr usually just come out and say it or is just another referral to another doctor?

Everyone here has been so supportive. Glad I found all you amazing women.

    After my lumpectomy the doctor came out and talked to my family. I have my followup tomorrow.

    I had my Lumpectomy and had the follow up a week later and that is when she wanted to discuss if my 3 nodes were clear which thankfully they were

    My next step is appointments with the radiation oncologist on the medical oncologist to discuss treatment. Gulp,
