I'd like to hear from members here who've had lumpectomy + radiation without chemotherapy. Would you please share your experiences with me? I will be going for surgery next Wednesday, March 25th. My Dr. wanted me to have 6 months of chemo + targeted therapy, followed by 4 - 6 weeks of radiation. I am not keen on chemo at all (perhaps it's because I abhor the things it will do to my body). My ex-colleague had impressed upon me to only have radiation too when she had lung cancer (2 two heavy smoking brothers were not saved by chemotherapy either). I did read another forum with feedbacks from their members. But I want to know what your experiences are? I am pretty much on my own and forums are the only way I can connect with you all. Thank you for your time.
