Anyone going through this? I'm scared because I don't know much about my cancer yet. Seeing a surgeon on Monday. I don't know what to expect.

Dear Lmhbeatles, Welcome to the BCO community. We are so sorry that you have been diagnosed during your pregnancy. Here is a link to our website information page about Breast Cancer during Pregnancy. Hopefully this will offer some questions for you to pose to your surgeon on Monday. We hope you will here from others soon as there are others in the community who have had similar circumstances. Keep us posted. The Mods

    hi Lmhbeatles,

I'm 28 diagnosed when I was 6 weeks pregnant, had lumpectomy at 9 weeks and start chemo next week, I'll be 15 weeks. Hopefully your meeting went good with the surgeon. Once you have a plan, you'll feel a little better hopefully.

Two ladies in my chemo group here had healthy babies while going through chemo. Good luck to you!

One of the girls on the Cold Cap thread was pregnant with twins when she did chemo.  She finished chemo about 10 weeks ago I believe she recently posted.  She seems to be doing well.  So sorry you have to deal with this especially when you should be having the best time of your life expecting a baby.  Hugs and prayers to you!!!

xoxo. I was diagnosed at 20 weeks pregnant! I had surgery and chemo before delivery. My baby boy was born at 37 weeks ( induction and vaginal delivery) Healthy and happy! He was a peanut at 5 lbs 12 oz 18 inches. He is now 4 1/2 months and a peanut no more!! He weighs 18lbs and is 26.5 inches...so healthy he even got through winter without catching any of the colds me and my husband got! He is my hero:)

You can do this. I finished up chemo (taxol) after delivering. Had bilateral mastectomy 6 weeks ago and getting ready to start radiation. It's tough and you'll feel a angry and scared for you and baby.but he/she will give you strength to kick cancer s ass!!!

Ask for help. You need to focus on you and baby. Be selfish ! 😇

Praying for you ladies. B trust that you and baby will make it through
