alibeths I'm really sorry about what you are going through.
I could see from one of your other posts that it looks like you are triple negative? I just want to mention copper depletion which I read about - some other members here posted about it some time ago. It should show promising results for triple negatie cancer and it might be worth looking into - i dont know if there are any ongoing trials.

Best of luck with everything -

I was stage 1, node negative, did BMX, chemo (TC), and Tamoxifen, and had a recurrence 15 months after ending chemo wit 2 different tumors. I just started chemo again

SUCKS Bee!! How are you feeling?

I am feeling really good. I made it through my first round of AC and my MO must have had the perfect mix of premeds, because I have felt great. I'll take it as long as it continues!!!

Hi, Alibeths..
I am so sorry you are going through all of this again. Geez, it's hard enough one time around! I hope your holding up okay.
I finished chemo in November and had a double mastectomy in Dec. I thought I was good to go, but now I am not so sure.
You said your Dr. felt a lump in your armpit. Was it something you could feel? Did you have any discomfort in your armpit?
The reason I am asking is because last year before I found my lump, I had a dull ache in my armpit. It would come and go.
Thank God, I had that discomfort, though, because that was how I found my tumor.
That uncomfortable feeling is back again. It had been gone for months and months.
I am so afraid that the cancer is back. My breast surgeon thinks it's scare tissue from the double mastectomy, but I do not.
If you could please respond, I would greatly appreciate it. I have never heard a story like yours. Thank goodness you were able to get the Pet scan too.
Many thanks!

JoeyJamesMom, The only way they can tell is to biopsy it. My BS and PS thought my lump was scar tissue too, but I pushed the issue and said I wanted a biopsy so I could sleep at night. It's a good thing because it was a recurrence. Do NOT be afraid to advocate for yourself, You deserve to be 100% sure. You need to be able to sleep at night.
