I saw an oncologist today.  My mass is rather large, and there are smaller ones surrounding.

She is afraid it lympnodes have been effected.  I have an mri on Mon.  She said that this doesnt have to be a death setance.

Im scared.  Im 51 with a 12 year old.

Im calm. Sometimes a tear leaks out, my mind may wwander for a few, my heart tv beat quickens.  But, im good.  Scared but good.

Of course well know more on TThursday.   I am afraid of hearing what she has to say.

Hi hera, I'm so sorry to hear your news, but it certainly isn't a death sentence. Although my mass sounds like its smaller than yours I do have 1 positive lympth node and they are going to cure my cancer. Its a long road but I will make it through and so will you. Please feel free to express your fears though... I do! Its a great place to do that as we really understand. The process you're going through now is one of the hardest. Once you have a plan you will start to gain some control. My one tip is to live moment to moment and try to enjoy little things that happen. Kids are great distractions, if you let them. Hopefully more experienced ladies pop in and give you some support. Big hugs to you xxx
