On September 2014 I had a Mammogram in Ohio that was my second mammogram. They called me to come back because they saw an abnormality on my left breast. They did a mammogram and an ultrasound. The result is BENIGN. A month ago I am feel a lump on my left rib underneath the breast it doesn't hurt or anythinh just a soft lump. What is it? Do I have to worry about it. I requested my doctor to send me to mammogram but when I called the mammogram office they said that I have to wait for one year and a day to have the mammogram again because my insurance will not pay for it. I am in Florida where can I get my mammogram

Hii rojelu, Sorry you have this going on, but if it were me, I would go to my Doctor and see if an ultrasound may be more efficient in seeing something on your ribs. I doubt a mammo would be able to pick that up. Good luck with it!

Go to your doctor again and get it checked. They can code the diagnostic tests in a way that will get them covered.
