ovarian suppression with zoladex

Hello, I had a shot of zoladex with my first chemo (6 total) and had one every 4 weeks during chemotherapy, and 2 extra shots once chemo was finished. Was wondering if this is the common practice for ovarian supression for her2 patients. I still have herceptin every 3 weeks for 1 year and wonder about the effect of herceptin alone on fertility.     Hello gramen1, I'm her postive and also had zoladex during chemo. Doctors told me that they give me to protect my ovaries from chemo (I'm 27)

    For herceptin, there are some side effects to heart, but I never heard any effect to fertility. I will be also getting herceptin for 1 year and I'm stopping Zoladex during that.
