Covering grey using cold caps

Hi

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November and also have the braca gene. It was a small tumer found by mammogram. I feel blessed that the lymph nodes that were just taken out were clean. I am going to start chemo in 5 weeks and have been covering my grey roots for years. I feel so blessed that I discovered that I can keep my hair by using the penguin cold cap. Of course I will follow all instructions to do the right thing, I was just wondering if anyone has just covered their roots in between sessions with a non bleaching product. I am so happy I can keep my hair, but the thought of 4 inches of grey is a little daunting .
