Fundraiser for those battling cancer treatment side effects

My daughter(who has a band in Chicagoland area) has been asking me about putting on a fundraiser. I would like to have one - not for cancer awareness - not for cancer research - but for those, like myself, left battling the side effects of treatment - neuropathy, breast reconstruction pain, lymphodema, etc. Constantly searching for some relief - no longer covered under the BC insurance umbrella.

does anyone know of any non-for profit organizations whose funds go to help survivors?
