Can u have Tumor Emboli with IDC?

I just got path report from mast and apparently I have tumor emboli. When I research this, seems it is only found on IBC threads. Anybody have this and have IDC?

My pathology report also indicated tumor emboli and I have idc. I asked my MO about it, and she said it just indicates that cancer was in the lymph channels. (which I already kind of knew since I had two positive nodes). What did your MO say about it? I'm just curious if yours seemed more concerned than mine. Also, did you ever get red sore bumps under your arm during treatment? I did, but they didn't last long, maybe 3 days or less. Now I'm freaking out that it had to do with the tumor emboli.

hi bgum, thanks for replying. My Onc said the same thing. I find I have little pimple like things on my breast and arm. Not sure if there is any relation with lymph invasion. Everyone I ask knows nothing about these pimples.

Hey Dancing Diva. Just checking in to see how you're doing. Have you had any more of those "pimples" since finishing treatment? I haven't had any for a long time, but just had a bout of them the weekend before Christmas. So, now I'm freaking out of course. You're the only other person I've found who experienced these phenomena, so I wanted to pick your brain. I hope that you're doing well and that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas

hey bgum, I've been off these boards for months. Needed a break from all things cancer. Happy new yr!! Yup, I still get those tiny fluid filled blisters over the tops of my breasts and chest. Still don't know what they r!!
