reconstruction after an expander infection

I had BMX march 2014 one month before exchange surgery expander got infected.. I have had nothing else no chemo or radiation.... well yet another new resident  is finally going to put the TE back in. I did all the pre op , exam etc. Right before the weekend he so kindly(very sarcastic) oleaves me ammessage saying I need to come I. On Tuesday or the surgery will be cancelled. I was literally shaking.

It took till today, Monday to find out he is forcing me to come in to talk about some things re: surgery!! Especially symmetry. Well we did all that and he mad ea comment about it being difficult case. This is my beef with it all.one if being one side immediate and one side delayed was going to make a difference cosmetically because of changes due to having one in and one out for a time  they should have TOD ME THAT . They said I could have the other expander out ifi wanted but gave me no real reason beyond some find its easier. But if I had been told I would then have had both taken out that way when expanders  put back in I would be starting from the same vantage point, therefore getting better symmetry.  I'm so mad because this should have been told to me , so I feel like they did not give me best chance for good outcome.  now waiting a few months for the delayed side to drop ok, forever have one high and one low lo, NOT OK

 

And doc really don't think whatleaving a messagelike that with not slightest bit of info can do to someone's head. Not very nice

Zander's girl, You need to change PS's. Get a PS who will do the sx without a resident, for one thing. {{{hugs}}}

Thanks... because of my crappy Insurance and the area I live don't have alot of choice.though the attending physician, did say he would do it  when I complained about lack of continuity.this I my third surgeon.

 

I went to doctor and apparently there is a a fair chance I could lose the nipple do to not much skin there, showing me my icky looking anatomy was so not helpful. Understanding what he had to say could've been done over the phone ;-)

And I WILL  be having talk with attending pre surgery
