Sex and estrogen?

I don't think I have seen this question yet. Since I was diagnosed in Jan, I have been worrying about my future sex life (among a million other worries). But I am wondering if I should be worried about myself HAVING sex now. I haven't started treatment yet. I am working on a plan and hope to finalize it this week. But it occurs to me that the same thing that makes sex uncomfortable after starting Tamoxifen and possibly menopause could be killing me now…that is…estrogen. Is having sex giving me a hit of estrogen? Does this make sense?

I've been blessed with a loving mate and i was wondering if the hormone blocking drug they put me on, airmidex, is going to interfere with my desires....i have to admit I'd hate to loose that too

I asked my MO about this at our first appointment. She acted like it was a dumb question but she explained that your ovaries still make estrogen but hormone blockers keep it from getting to the cancer and assisting it's growth. So you will still have estrogen production in that all important place.
