fat grafting vs. flap surgery

I have had my implants for 3 years and overall like the way the look but lately, have been experiencing some discomfort on 1 side (feels like the implant is digging into the muscle and/or scar tissue) and astetically I don't like looking at 1 breast because of how much the muscle flexes. I have a couple of options:

    (1) fat grafting to "hide" some of the muscle flexing or

    (2) have flap (abdominal region) surgery to create new breasts

I am interesting in hearing the pros & cons for both procedures from anyone who has had either of them done.

    Thanks in advance.

Before either of these options, have you considered PT(physical therapy)? A good PT therapist could break up some of the scar tissue and check to see if you have any minor cording issues going on. This may fix some of the issues you are having.

BayouBabe - thanks, I did PT after my original surgery. The issue that I am having is actually on the cancer free side. Saw my PS today and he recommended trying to "massage it out" and give it a couple of months, which I plan on doing. We had discussed the above procedures so want to gather my info from someone who has had it done before I go down either path.

lab44 - I had cording develop recently. Since my PT has found and broken up the cording and scar tissue, I can feel my implant settling in place again. Strange feeling. I have had fat grafting twice. It has softened the look of my implants, but the muscle still flexs, but is not reallynoticible unless someone is really looking for it or I am using my pecs to a great extent.
