Alternative to tamoxifen ???

I was recently diagnosed with atypical ductal hyperplasia and recommended to take tamoxifen for 5 yrs. I'm only 41, negative for BRCA but strong family history. What natural supplements may help in reducing cancer risk vs taking tamoxifen ??? TI

    Some people who can't or won't take Tamoxifen use DIM and/or D calcium Glucarate to effect changes in their estrogen levels. Some people use flax seeds or other photo-estrogens. Like Tamoxifen, they are said to work by occupying estrogen receptors. blocking our body's estrogen.

    There are no big studies about the effectiveness of any alternative therapies. The drug companies that have the money for these studies certainly wouldn't benefit from a study that showed a natural product to be as effective as their drugs (they'd be silly to finance such a thing).

    But there are lots of books and plenty of information circulating, you just have to dig for it, study it and make up your own mind.
