    Thanks, Luv!

You can watch videos of her presentation here:

A couple of observations. First, it sure appears she could do with some hand protection, and I hope someone--her therapist or doctor or the LE&RN folks--will help her with that. And I'm also concerned that no one has told her about ways to increase her arm strength in order to lift more than five pounds safely (very helpful for waving that Oscar around!)

All that said, though, her courage and ease in dealing with this is absolutely WONDERFUL! Do watch--she's an inspiration,
    Binney

So glad to see Kathy Bates as a spokesperson for Lymphedema!  Yippee!!  This certainly helps the cause!!

I am thrilled!!  Her arm sleeves looked just like my Jobst Bella Lite.  Anyone else have any ideas on her sleeves?

    Just curious!

Wow. My doctors didn't even mention it. I had to ask. I still wonder if I'm getting appropriate treatment because my arm keeps getting bigger by degrees. I gather this is the way it goes sometimes, so I'll just keep on keeping on and hoping for the best. What else is there to do? Maybe Kathy Bates involvement will produce some real change in research and treatment. I hope so. Bless her.

TuffMama - are you getting treatment with a Lymphedema Therapist?  I've found that

hoping for the best with Lymphedema doesn't work!  I tried that!  LOL!  There are

varying degrees of LE Therapists out there!  If you find one that works for you, that is

where part of the miracle can happen.  If you wait until it gets really bad, it is challenging at

    best to make it "better"!
