Question about lump after biopsy

I am wondering if others have had the same experience. I am sure I need to possibly call my doctor but I feel silly. I swear the mass in my breast has changed shape since my biopsy last week. It feels closer to the skin and is a different shape. Anyone else have something like this? Also, can any share their experience with the lymph node biopsy? After my breast biopsies I think I am freaking myself out. Thanks for any help.

Carrie37, just make the call and ask. My tumor did feel different as it was close to the skin, and I could feel it shrinking and changing shape while on chemo. But since you are concerned, ask them. It may have something to do with where they took the cores from. Take a breath and relax until you have the info, it's a lot of hurry and wait. Good luck, I hope you get great news!

Dear Carrie37, there is often some small swelling after a biopsy that people get worried about. However, there is no harm in giving your Doctor a call for piece of mind.

My lump also feels different. it has been 3 weeks since my biopsy. It feels harder and closeer to my skin. It was hurting and itchy but that finally stopped 3 days ago. I see my "team" next week and mean to ask about the difference then.
