STEW!!!
-
ew, you gross girl! But funny!
-
Hahahahahahaha my sisters husband told me that. He's a Lutheran minister!
-
Hmmm. "Stu"?
-
ha. I haven’t heard that one
-
Still have ten pounds of the damn chemo weight, 2 and 1/2 months after final chemo. And exercising at a level of about 5,000 calories a week.
-
Dude, can you get an STD from a polar bear?!
-
Carrie...Will be thinking of you tomorrow too...hope all goes well.
PB
-
T- that makes no sense. Maybe somehow the chemo or H has you retaining water?
LBF-could be the smoke indeed. Be careful
-
I think I just need to staple my mouth shut lol. Seriously, I need to go back to being super strict with food. Today's lunch was tuna, artichoke hearts, Palm hearts, olives, cucumbers and tomatoes, so thats a start.
If only cookies didn't taste so damn good....
-
Good luck Carrie - sending all sorts of good thoughts your way.
-
Theresa - my doc suggested the saline nose spray, but when I told them how frequent they were, he was concerned so wanted me to get checked out.
-
Glad you're getting checked, Whitney.
-
Whitney, I would totally get checked. Just offered it as a suggestion. I hate bloody noses. I hope everything turns out fine.
As Katy says, chemo, the gift that keeps giving.
-
I shoved aquaphor up there the other night and that seemed to help. I think the dry weather isn't helping, either. I'm not looking forward to the possibility of having a scope up my nose. Totally tired of this gift!

-
Whitney, It's better than a carrot up your butt!
😲
-
Sharon- I think today will be your last day of rads? Congrats!!!🎉🎉🎉💃🏿💃🏿💗💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿😁🎈🎈🎈🎈. You seem to be in a pretty good mood haha!! Yay for you and finishing the 💩 🍔. Hey. Shitburger was the closest I could come to shit sandwich in I-conography. 😁😁😁
-
Hahaha, Sharon. Good one.
Carrie: I will be thinking of you today and sending you good thoughts. I am feeling similarly. I breastfed my two daughters for almost a total of 3 years. I am just trying not to mourn them (having mine on Sept 1) and thank them for providing for my kids. Or I shouldn't say NOT mourn them. I think you have to. It's normal to feel that way. Hugs.
Katy: Awww…..I LOVE that picture.
Sizzle: Not sure if you will read this but I think we all understand. That's the very reason I didn't want to be on FB. I didn't want my FB to be about cancer.
I can't remember if I told you guys I went to get my wig styled and the lady started saying " I lost my boyfriend to cancer….' I stopped her and said 'Please don't tell me about people you know who have died of cancer'. I just cut them off now. Usually it is people who are in working environments. I don't think anyone I know has done that that is a friend for family. Maybe my doped up sister in law. Coincidentally, just found out she has early stage BC. I think she is about 61.
Whitney: I used to get bloody noses when I visited Vegas or Arizona so a dry climate would make that 10x worse. Hopefully it is nothing and you can get it resolved after seeing the doctor. I keep a bottle of saline handy, too.
-
Sharon, the one about hedgehog made me laugh.
-
Me too. I can totally see doing that!
-
Good for you Allison for cutting people off! It's so insensitive.
-
Well, admittedly, it is easy when the person has proven themselves in the past to be an insensitive clod like this woman at the wig place. You can tell she is just very immature (around 60) and has a diarrhea mouth anyway.
-
I started wearing my wig again whenever I go out of the house because I was tired of people telling me about everyone they know who has had cancer. I think they saw my scarf and felt the need to share. I even had one lady tell me that she is three years cancer free and she still doesn't feel herself and that she is always exhausted. That is not what I want to hear.
-
I kind of like having permission (that I gave to myself) to be rude to stupid people. I've been waiting for this opportunity all my life! High price to pay, but since I can't help that, I'm gonna take full benefit!
-
Ok, Molly posted on Facebook she has never worn head coverings, and after hearing that, today I put on my big girl pants and a camouflage shirt and went to work with no head covering. I admit, Cheryl walked me around the office to get over the initial nervousness.
Thank you Molly!
I'm liking the coloring in the below picture. May have to try it! Obviously some more growing, but I may add the cinnamon highlights. Or red. Or both.
-
Theresa, you look great! The bald spot is filling in!
-
Theresa, you look great.
-
T- you are rocking that look! Well done, brave girl!
