HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED THIS TIME WITH HER2- POSITIVE BREAST CANCER

Hi All

I have been diagnosed this time with Stage 1 Grade 3 Her2 Positive clear margin In January this year. My last Breast Cancer was back in 2002 so this one came as a big shock to me.Has any one else had breast cancer twice. Back in 2002 my treatment was just having the lump took out and radiation and hormonal therapy.. This time lump taken out different breast chemo (FEC) and radiation treatment plus hesceptin and hormonal therapy. I am 58 years of age I feel more scared this time as to the hers2 being positive. When i asked my oncologist was the breast cancer back in 2002 hers2 positive he told me that I was probable not tested.

Hi my first diag was er/pr+ her2- in 2001, then her2+ in 2009.  Guess when it could not get what it wanted, it changed.....
