Ductal ectasia? Anyone?

called back after mammogram for additional views of right breast. Prelim ductal ectasia. Office protocol requires follow up with surgeon if brds3. Radiologist erred on that since couldn't get prior films.

Specialist/surgeon said she agrees with diagnosis but wants me back in 6 mths to confirm/make sure no changes. I know I will worry for. 6 mths.

Anyone familiar with this? Thanks

I have lots of it found during surgical biopsies. My doctor doesn't seem to worry about it.

I had it too on my breast réduction pathology, no worries, pathologist wasnt worried about it, sais it was part of fibro cystic changes
