Two types of DCIS - what does that mean for Chemo?

Hi All,

I was diagnosed with DCIS, and I had a umx with reconstruction in January. I had two types of tumors, one 1 cm tumor mass that was ER+/PR+/HER- and then I had a multi-centric(spider web type) tumor that was triple negative. They took 3 lymph nodes, and one tested positive for metastatic carcinoma (about 3mm). Can anyone tell me what that means for chemo? I am still healing from the DIEP flap reconstruction, I am meeting the oncologist for my first appt. in march and will probably start treatment at the end of March/beginning of April.

Any help, insights or thoughts?
