Hello,

I have Fibrocystic breasts as do many women. I'm just curious if any of you are doing diet options to get rid of the condition. I'd be interested in knowing what has worked and what hasn't.

Thanks,

Alicki

I'm in the same boat. I started taking Evening Primrose Oil tablets and Vit D, but would be curious to see what others say as well. I know I've read that we should lower caffeine intake, red meat and sodium. Not sure we can totally get rid of it, but I think dietary changes can help somewhat. I haven't been on the Evening Primrose long enough to know if they help. Sorry.

My nurse practitioner recommended Vitamin D, Evening Primrose Oil and Vitamin E.

I also take Iodoral (and iodine supplement-you can also try Lugol's).  Please research iodine deficiency and how it affects our thyroid and breast health by causing cysts (you can also read reviews on Amazon).

I also take a liquid multivamin (Nature's Plus Source of Life)

I also take liquid Chlorophyll ES and Sovereign Silver (colloidal silver).

I also take Epsom Salts baths at least twice a week (for magnesium and to draw out toxins).

I also take melatonin before bed.

Another big change that I've made recently is to stop using antiperspirants and purchase only paraben and aluminum free deodorants.  The great thing is that the Chlorophyll I take is also an internal deodorant so I have no issues with body odor anyway.

How would you qualify successful treatment? Less pain? Especially with mamograms? that was what I was looking for prior to BC. Sorry to say, I never found anything.

I just got MRI results saying they found fibrocystic tissue.  I am overweight and feel like the weight is likely at the crux of my particular problem.  Anyone else here need to shed some pounds? Just wondering. Smile
