Pain after core biopsy

Hi Ladies! I had a core biopsy last Friday 1/30/15 and received my BC diagnosis on 2/2/15. My biopsy site is bruised but doesn't hurt. What is concerning me is that I have pain, swelling (I think)and a tightness feeling in my armpit that has been going on since about Monday.Of course, I'm worried that nodes are swelling or the tumor is spreading. Did anyone else experience this after a core biopsy? Thanks.

My experience of a core biopsy was the same. The swelling will go down, and you should feel better.

Mine too. Ice is what I did. 30 mins on, and 30 mins off. Ibuprofen as well as needed for pain.

I'll add: plus triceps pain (I assume related to the lidocaine injections in the breast).
