Natural remedies for low libido -- suggestions?

THi -- I just discovered this site : ) I am a year and half out from my last treatment and have been on tamoxifen for about that long. In addition, I had my ovaries removed about 10 months ago. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what I can take or do to increase my sex drive. (I am not depressed, but I am on celexa to manage pain from the tamoxifen.)

    Welcome to BCO Teresa, and we hope someone will respond to your question soon. Have you talked with your doctor as many are embracing natural therapies as an adjunct to traditional. You also need to be aware that some natural remedies are contra-indicated where BC and estrogen levels are concerned.

    Thank you and thank you for your reply. I'm not sure that anyone can actually post a recommendation as I just read the posting rules and the very first point was to be careful about making suggestions. As you mentioned, I need to speak to my doctor about it no matter how embarrassing, particularly since I do not know the impact on my estrogen levels. Thanks again, and have a super day!

    There is a product called scream cream. Search the boards for it. There is also a thread about getting your mojo back.
