Help-Moving on and feeling GOOD after a post-diagnosis breakup?

Options

Hi all.

I am a few months out from chemo, and almost a year post-diagnosis with multiple surgeries. My boyfriend and I recently broke up after multiple issues, part of which involved him making playful derogatory comments about my body.

Even though I know it was the right decision, I feel terrible. He was my rock throughout my diagnosis. My body self image is not in the greatest place either right now.

It feels overwhelming to even think about sharing my all of my cancer issues (scars, body, fear of recurrence, finances) with a new guy, let alone finding the right one. Has anyone been in this situation, of breakup post-diagnosis? How can I deal with all of this?

    Hi :

I just saw this post and had to repply.

How are you feeling right now? . It takes a while to feel better about our bodies after all that we have to go through .

Is important to put yourself first and allow yourself time to heal and relax.
