Hi im new here and have posted my situation on a few posts but not sure if the right place.

I just turned 29 on the 21st and I have been experiencing bloody discharge for 9 weeks now I went to the gp and he referred me to the breast clinic where they preformed an ultrasound a week later I saw the consultant and he told me that the ultrasound was normal but after seeing the discharge himself he booked me in for a total duct excision on the 2/2/15 saying he was concerned about the bleeding and nothing else.

I would be grateful for any advice or if anyone has been through similar I would be grateful to hear how it all tur

Hi, Happy Belated birthday! I am so sorry that I did not see your post sooner. I'm glad that your ultrasound was normal. I have had a bleeding discharge from my nipple. I also had an ultrasound, but mine did show a suspicious mass. A biopsy revealed that I had a papilloma. The bleeding did clear up, but years later I had a reoccurence, which I found out was not that uncommon. I learned from experience that there are so many benign breast issues. You might want to take some advil/tylenol before the biopsy. They do use a topical numbing agent, but when that wore off I found that the area did sting. Please let us know how it goes.
