When can I get off this roller coaster?

Four months ago, I had an abnormal mammogram. I go every year due to family history of BC. The result led to an ultrasound which led to an appointment with a Breast surgeon, a Steriotactic Biopsy, MRI, another Steriotactic Biopsy, lumpectomy and then a re-excision. My diagnosis is DCIS, grade 3, comedo necrosis, ER- / HR-. Today I went for my pre-radiation mammo and was told there are still calcifications remaining. The Radiologist tried to contact my BS because he was pretty sure she would want to remove them. Unfortunately, she is on vacation. I Had assumed that radiation would take care of any remaining calcs, but now I wonder if this ride is going to be extended again. Does anyone have any experience with this
