Exchange to implants
tomorrow after 1 year & 1 month I'm going for my implants. I wasn't supposed to until may, but my right side (trouble) I call it, won't drop & is far from normal looking. I've lost that side expander 3 times & went without it for 3 months too. I'm nervous about what to expect out of surgery. He told me he's gonna have to do a lot of work on my right side. Hes also making me wear 2 belts to try to keep it in place has anyone else had this? He seemed like he was concerned about getting it to drop. How is pain after exchange? Where did yalls PS take your fat from

I had no problems with the exchange. Was so much easier than bmx and recovery was a breeze. As for them dropping I have one side with more scar tissue so it is a little different but still looks ok. Did he use alloderm? Mine did to hold them in place. They took fat from my belly and you can't even tell. Good luck.

we used alloderm with my double mastectomy. I'm not sure if he is this time. He did say he was going to have to do some filling so I'm not sure. Headed there now, not near as nervous as I figured I would be. Just ready to get these rocks out. I'm praying implants are more comfy. Thank you

I'm still bandaged up. But I love the look of my left Breast. My right Breast he had to do intensive work on & I've got 2 more surgeries scheduled to get it right. He didn't do my fat injections yet Bc of time it took getting right side where it is. I'm attaching a photo. I'm not sure about the coloring on my right side.

Hi, I flashbacked to my bmx when I saw that black marker on you. I am so glad that your surgery was a success. It is good to see you up and about so fast. You look very good. It looks like your breast did drop and both look very symmetrical. How are you doing? How are you getting around?

feeling ok. He did a lot of work to right so obviously it's pretty sore. Not as bad as my mastectomy. Can't stand straight yet but definitely getting better each day. Went to church today & lunch after & got pretty sore I guess from sitting up straight so long. Thank you. Im
Pleased with them so far. My right was a pain the last year so I'm glad it's cooperating. I'm still undecided on doing the fake nipples or just tattoing them. What did you do

That is such great news. You are really on the mend. That is fantastic that you are getting around even wiht all the bruising and soreness. I was able to keep my nipples. My BS and PS had to wait until the preliminary lab work to be read while I was under anesthesia. I was surprised that I still had them when I was told by my bs.A large piece of my aerola was removed from a prior breast surgery so I was sort of hopeful that I could finally get it fixed the right way. If I had to have them removed, I had planned to go with the 3D tatto. I wanted to go to Vinnie in Orleans, but he was backlogged. I did a lot of research and there are many professionals doing 3 D tatoos and are affiliated with hospitals now. I know people who have had both done and I really can't tell which one is better than the other. They both really look good.

I had my exchange last Wednesday. I know it takes time for everything to settle in, but so far I'm ok with the look. Could have been a bit bigger...but. I had double BMX last September. The right side was nipple sparing. At first I didn't think I wanted to do anything else after implants, but now I think I probably do. Now I'm confused as to go with 3d tattooing or reconstruction. How bad does the site where they take the skin for the nipple rebuild hurt?

I had double one last January. But had to take both nipples. In 1 way I want to do fake ones but in another I'd rather just tattoo them.
