Hi,

I am new to the forum, but I been reading this website for last few days. I went for a routine check up at my primary for a lump I found 2 months ago after a miscarriage. She said it's probably nothing but still ordered me an ultrasound. I went for an ultrasound on 1/17 and rest is history. Last few days- mammo, ultrasound, biospy of the lump and armpit. Just heard both positive yesterday. They still doing the hormone testing. I just got married last year in Canada to a wonderfful husband. The oncologist want me to see a fertility expert. I am here for any advice from people that have similar experiences. I really want to have babies

I"m sorry you're going through this. It is scary process but soon a plan will be in place. I was diagnosed in april at age 34 after having twins 10 months prior. I know there are many options now to preserve fertility and know people who had babies after treatment. Try to get through the next couple weeks of testing and planning and soon you will be on the road to recovery and babies. Wishing you the best!

    Hey NYInShocked,

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I am pretty much in the same boat as I was diagnosed today at 32, im not married but my boyfriend and I were just starting to talk babies :S Its clear that we really want to have them. I guess that we have to stick with what MDnowPatient says and thats get through the next weeks and on the road to recovery and then hopefully babies!

    Take care ladies
