Sudden pain 4 months after double mastectomy, reconstruction on right, expander on left.

Following what was supposed to be my last expansion before exchange surgery, I felt pressure, but not pain.
Suddenly about a week after I was in so much pain down the left side of my waist, to armpits and up to my neck. I couldn't function or think. The pain started to read across my chest and all arpumd my back.
Doctor gave me paim meds but they dull the pain and, although I telecommute, I can't hold my head up without screaming in pain.
I had a CT scan yesterday and am waiting on the results.
For no, I am on pain meds and attached to my heating pad.

Has anyone experienced similar symptoms?
Any advice or shared experience is helpful!

Welcome to BCO but sorry you had to post here due to your pain onset.

The pain may be due to filling too fast or just too much for your body. Other ladies on this Forum will advise better from their own experiences. How much was your last fill and to what volume will likely help with responses.

We hope that the CT results help you doctor in deciding way forward and that your pain can be significantly reduced and your lifestyle improve.
