hello all and TIA! i found a lump in my left breast on oct2014 and it felt very tender. I went to the dr and was sent to get an ultrasound twice. I was told it was only a cyst. Had a chest ct scan and a chest xray aswell. But for the past 3 months ive been having pain which has been getting worse day by day it is starts at my breast and isnow up to my armpit and my back all around my shoulder blade my neck and shoulders and under my rib also by my side under my armpit feels like something is swollen inside and it hurts. A have shooting pains, stabbing pains and a feeling as if my insides are being pulled from my breast to my back. Now drs dont want to listen to me i get treated as if im crazy. did anybody feel anything similar? Also i have no change in appearance since oct no swelling no redness no dimpling no nothing it look super normalbut i do have like a feeling of fullness. I pray its nothing serious but the constant pain makes me think otherwise, maybe BC or lymphoma. God bless you all!

HI while I don't have a similar problem I wanted to give support. I hope you find answers to your questions and pain, , Its good they ran a CT scan, and were aggressive in trying to get to the bottom of it. The CT will show any of those types of issues. Good luck. -
thanks bevin Any support is welcome! i am just really loosing my mind, i really feel like i am about to go crazy. Do you think a ct scan of chest can tell if you have something in the armpit or back though

Hi, I haven't had your situation but I do know from experience that cysts can hurt and do change due to hormones, etc. It sounds like you have been diligent in following up on all recommended tests. Do you think you might have an infection in a lymph node? Did your doctor prescribe any antibiotics or check for a cyst in your armpit? Please let us know how it goes. -
roadrash: yes i have because if we dont take care of ourselves nobody else will. I am praying its just a benign cyst. Its just all so scary because it has been very persistent and just wont go away. Even though some days are worst than others. I actually wasn't prescribed any antibiotics because not even once they have mentioned an infection. Thankfully a dr today is sending me to another ultrasound and a breast clinic. I just pray we can find out what it is soon and that it is benign.

Yes, for the sake of a few more tests it is worth it. I am hoping that the additional tests do reassure you that your condition is benign. If you remember maybe ask if it could be an infection(swollen lymph node) or if there is actually a cyst in your armpit. Please let us know how it goes. I will be thinking of you.
