Could it be cancer again?

It has been four months since my last radiation and six months since my lumpectomy. I recently had some breast swelling and had it checked doctor believed it was lymphedema. Lymphedema physical therapist confirmed some truncal and breast lymphedema. Two weeks ago I started the physical therapy and it seemed to help the swelling however yesterday I awoke to find a small pink area next to my nipple area. I also have some rib pain. Ibc scares me to death. I did apply some lotion the night before. Not sure if this just irritated my dry breast. Has anyone had this sort of issue? I have appointment tomorrow with pt planning on letting her see the little pink area and see whatshe thinks...
