Unhappy with implants :(

Hi. First post here though I've been faithfully reading these boards since I first found my lump last April. There's nothing I havent found ananswer for somewhere here, but this is a different matter.

I had my TE's exchanged for Mentor memory shape implants on December 1st. I couldn't wait to get rid of the TE's since they made my chest feel so tight and hurt if I tried to sleep on my side. Well, since the exchange I no longer feel the pain ortightness, but I feel uncomfortable nonetheless. I initially didn't like the implants because I thought they were too big, but after passage of a few weeks, since the swelling's gone down they look much better and I'm happy with the size and shape. They're not as squishy as I would have liked, but I can live with that.

The problem is that I feel these implants, not when I'm perfectly still, but I feel them any time I move. It's worst when I bend over or my kids hug me - I feel a swooshing, friction type sensation that creeps me out, and it hasn't gotten any better at all since it started. My PS already checked to see if there could have been a buildup of fluid causing this but he says everything checks out well. And I believe him because he's a fabulous surgeon. But I've considered seeking out a second opinion for fat grafting to replace these implants since I feel like this but am worried I might not have enough fat to fill two foobs and I'm concerned about the long-term result. Have any of you ever experienced thiis? If yes what happened or what did you do about it

Fat grafting can't make 2 boobs no matter how much fat you have...its usually just to fix small deficiencies. Not all fat survives, around 50%.

If you have healed well and are not in pain and you are happy with the cosmetic result I would suggest waiting a few months to see if things settle down even more or if you get used to the feeling.

Your have been through a lot. If you aren't in pain or discomfort - just feeling weird - perhaps giving the new implants some time will be enough.
