Is it safe to take NyQuil while on Tamoxifen & Effexor?

I am not feeling well & wondering what is safe to take while on Tamo & Effexor, anyone know

Do they let you take antihistamine & decongestant with those drugs? That's all Nyquil is

I have no idea, may have to just wait to call my dr tomorrow to find out

I think NyQuil contains alcohol? Check the label.

No alcohol anymore. Just tylenol, cough suppressant & antihistamine

Best to check with your PCP mine won't let me take any decongestant or cough suppressant because it causes BP to spike - my onc agrees with her - drat!

I always check drug.com for interaction info. It may have a few issues but overall I think it is ok. I take tam and Effexor and I had the flu a couple weeks ago. I think Tylenol pm is no no but I figured my first priority was getting well and one day wouldn't hurt.
