Anybody have these problems with drain?

I had the tram flap on December 3. I still have 1 abdomen drain almost 6 weeks later. My PS knows it's still in, but I can't get an answer to the question why one day it might be close to 30 ml and then the next it's over 100. I don't think there is a big difference in my activity level and in fact it seems to drain more when I rest.

My PS is at MDA 4 hours away. I have been sending them messages on their online system but not getting a response. Maybe it's because this is no big deal but I just don't see anything online about this happening to others.

    I had a similar situation & my PS wasn't worried about it. I had to keep the drains in until I had less than 10ml every 24 hours & even then I ended up going to get drained every week, which he did with a gigantic needle. I don't think it's anything to worry about, but it is a pain, I'll agree. GG
