Worried again!

hi guys,

I had a ultrasound and biospy last week for a hard smooth 2cm lump near nipple area.

Went back for biopsy results today, and consultant says it shows nothing at all, and advised me to have to lump removed and then sent to lab for testing?

If it was a fibromidema would it state in the biospy? He was basically saying that It came back inconclusive, I'm 31. He did say not to worry as he doesn't think it's anything sinister

Zoer, I had a lump near my areole also. It didn't show up on any imaging . It's good that you have a doctor that wants to take it out and test it.many doc would want to watch it for a while when they don't see anything .my surgeon told me he believes if you can't see it take it out. You won't know what it is if you don't remove and test it. Yes the biopsy results will tell you exactly what it is. Most lumps are begin. My surgeon thought mine was going to be begnin. They found a very small slow growing tumor. It was. Caught early . Will be thinking of you. When is your biopsy? Please let us know what you find out. Hugs Susu

I have had the biopsy, but it was inconclusive. The lump does show up on ultrasound at 2cm

I had a shadow show up on my latest mammogram. I am going for ultra sound on Tuesday of next week and I will get results that day as well as if the ultra sound is inconclusive they will do other tests right away. The worrying and waiting is the hardest part. I am scared and feel alone.

I had a shadow show up on my recent mammogram. I have an appt for Tuesday and will get results on that day. Awesome breast clinic but of course I am worried. The wait is hard and I'm not good with waiting for such results. How do people cope
