When did you feel ready to go back to work? I am 4 weeks post bilateral mastectomy with TE reconstruction. I have had one fill since surgery and it made me so sore and exhausted. My PS is only doing 50 cc injections so I think that is pretty normal. I guess I am just feeling wimpy that I don't feel ready to go back to a work yet. I teach 2 nd grade and can't imagine going back right now with the amount of energy and time teaching requires. Do I just need to toughen up

    sweros -

I did not have TE placed when I had my BMX, so I am not sure about that part.  I think I went back to work at about 5 weeks.  I had a pretty easy time of it, and could have gone back sooner, but was waiting to start radiation. I think the right time is when you feel ready, and that can be different for all of us.

4 weeks after uni with expander but I do work in an office. I had no problem working after fills. My doctor gives muscle relaxers and I did take those the day after the fills. The fills seem to feel more pressure the next day and then, by second day after, no problem. The very last one I had was the most uncomfortable but I had no problems going to work. I would think it depends on the type work you do.

Thank you ladies for your input! I have an a hard time with the expansion process and with skin sensitivity. I had my last fill on Wednesday and heading back to work Monday January 26th. So grateful to be closer to being done with this.
