sores on lips and sore throat

I don't know if I'm strong enough to do this. Had my first chemo last Friday, nothing but problems with them getting into my port, they say it's deep. Wound up getting started with an iv in my arm. And blood draw in the other arm. Had a fever of 100.8 Monday, was dehydrated and am now on antibiotics as they think I have an infection, even though no infection shown on blood work. Now I have sores on my lips and a sore throat. Is this really worth it? I can't function, so tired. I can't imagine doing this for 6-8cycles
