Tykerb

Thought it might be helpful to have a thread dedicated to tykerb q and a.   I have been on tykerb since Aug 2013.  Tho I tolerate it relatively well, it still can wear me down.  The good news it has been very successful, currently NED. 

So who else is prescribed tykerb, how long, dose, se's , tykerb breaks?  If you had breaks how often, how long?

I am curious about how everyone else is doing.

• GSK (Glaxo Smith Kline), the manufacturer of Tykerb (Lapatinib) is hosting an event February 5, 2015 at the Collegeville campus called "Focus the Patient". The event will bring scientists and physicians together with patients who are living with breast cancer. It will be broadcast to GSK employees in countries all around the world. The event allows patients either on, or who have taken Tykerb, to speak directly to GSK and to tell them what it's like –for better or worse- to endure these treatments.
• We are looking for someone who fits this criteria to join Dr. Marisa Weiss on that day, and tell you story !!!
