Shoulder blade pain

I've been experiencing shoulder pain for awhile now. I'm not sure exactly how long, but over the last month or so it has gotten worse. It is on the side I had radiation and it is really bothering me. I'm trying to determine if this is radiation or even lymphedema? When I went to see a PT about lymphedema she said that shoulder pain wasn't lymphedema. Not sure who to call about this, but like I said its bugging me. It feels like muscle or tendons are pulling on my shoulder blade all the time. I have to actually lay down on the side it hurts to keep it steady. hard to explain...

has anyone had or heard of this?

Haven't heard of this but it sounds like you need to go to your PCP and get an X-Ray and US - I had a sudden pain in my arm (on my radiated side) a few months back and it wouldn't go away and it led to me not being able to sleep - had the XRay and US and lo and behold I had torn a muscle in my upper arm - my whole arm hurt like blazes - a few days on pain meds and an anti-inflammatory and I was fine - get it checked!
