Taxol and Herceptin - hair loss

I am about to start chemo and will take Taxol/Herceptin each week for twelve weeks and then continue monthly with Herceptin.

Has anyone been through this same combo of drugs, and did you lose all your hair? My doctor said most women do not lose their hair, but the side effects of Taxol state that it is common to lose hair. I am not going to run out and shave my head, but I would like a realistic idea of what will happen with my hair.

I had Taxol/Herceptin [weekly for 12 weeks]/Perjeta [every three weeks], but I had this cocktail after AC, which did leave me bald. I should note that my hair did begin growing during Taxol/Herceptin, but not very fast. I should also note that I am still without eyebrows/eyelashes (Grrr).

I lost a good portion of my hair, but not all. I have enough to keep coverage without a wig, but barely. It is super thin! I did however have CRAZY thick hair before Taxol. If my hair would've been any thinner I wouldn't have made it. My eye lashes & eyebrows also thinned, but didn't lose them all.

I am currently getting perjeta & herceptin and haven't lost my hair yet. I have my third infusion next week. I have all of my hair, everywhere, and it's still growing.

I recently finished 12 weeks of Taxol and am on a year of Herceptin. The third infusion was when I started shedding hair, by the 5th I shaved my head as it was so patchy. I'm 3 weeks from my last infusion and see some hair growing but there are still completely bald patches. I used latisse on my eyelashes and kept most of them.

Any other T/H hair experiences? I'm just had round 4 of 12. After round 3 I noticed quite a bit of shedding and decided to shave it off rather than leaving a trail behind me. A week later I have lots of prickly stubble re growth and feeling like I should have waited as it's still growing some. It's super thin on top though, so probably just as well not to do what someone on these boards called "my long, painful breakup with my hair".
