Mom just diagnosed.

Hi everyone,  

Just wanted to introduce myself.  My mom, who is retired, was just diagnosed in the past month with Stage 1.  They did surgery and got 4 lymph nodes.  Three were negative, 1 was positive.  The type she has is like a string, if that makes sense.  They would another mass behind the first one, and that was 4 cm.  They are going back in and remove all the lymph nodes.  She will then have chemo and radiation.
