    Hi Isis-

First, we want to welcome you to Breastcancer.org. We're glad you've found our community, and hope you find the answers you're looking for.

We have some information about the BRCA gene on our main site that you might find helpful: http://www.breastcancer.org/symptoms/testing/genet.... Have you spoken to your doctor about your options after having tested positive for a BRCA mutation? Do you know if you have a BRCA 1 or 2 mutation?

We also have a forum dedicated to members with a positive BRCA test, you may have some questions that can be answered there: https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/112.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask here, or you can reach out to us via the private message function on your profile.

There is another excellent website to check out called FORCE (Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered) with lots of information specific to BRCA 2. Hopefully you were referred to a genetic counselor who can also help determine if other family members would benefit from testing.
