AROMASIN (EXEMESTANE) AND SOY ISOFLAVONES

Has anyone taken soy isoflavones (non GMO) with Exemestane? My naturopathic (also medically trained) doctor said it helps with side effects of Aromasin...........I have not been taking it as not keen on soy but side effects in terms of dryness and skin and low mood are so bad now I have decided to try it.........

I did check out how it works and was reassured but I can´t remember now to post that here, I think it actually binds good oestrogen to receptors so that the dangerous oestrogen cannot reach the cells, like an impermeable blanket.

I have taken it for a few days and feel a little more comfortable down below if you see what I mean

Lily55 - My MO and pharmacist told me to avoid any phytoestrogen (soy being one of them) for ER positive bc.  There is controversy around phytoestrogen but I decided to stay away from them - just in case.

I know there are mixed opinions but there is also this article - i know some people are against Chris Woollams but he is just reporting on German research

THank you - I avoid all soy products apart from using Tamari sauce occasionally for stir fries.........but I am taking non GMO soy isoflavones now, it is very confusing and complicated it seems

I would love to hear from people also using it to counteract the worst side effects of aromatase inhibitors
