ILC Breast reduction with lumpectomy vs BMX

Was all set to schedule BMX. Interviewed several BS who recommend lumpectomy plus rad instead. Both agreed to do BMX if I wanted but felt it wasn't necessary as good breast looks ok. The first one put me on schedule for BMX later this month Then went to another for 2nd opinion

That one offered to do a reduction of 2 sizes removing over 1/2 the breast tissue from both.He claims a reduction will have an easier recovery than mastectomy. (Note I have to have a lot of PS as tumor is on top of breast). Do you think this is true?

This is the least I will go for as I want a big hunk of the good one examined since I understand ILC can lurk in the shadows.

Keep wondering what the odds are that I will have to have a BMX eventually. Looking at the surgical histories of so many ladies here it seems like more than the 1%!
