Scan Time

I have a pain under my right breast that is concerning me but i will have answers soon enough - scan on Wednesday. I keep telling my self that I had a mx, radiation, diep recon and that generates a lot of scar tissue which can hurt. It's not actually a lump i have but pain right at the bottom on my breast where it connects with the ribs. Doesn't hurt all the time but isn't getting better and maybe a little worse...so on and off. I have a dinner planned with a friend that night so it will be a good distraction. My mom and dad come down the next day for a long weekend for an early xmas. A clean scan would be the best gift I could get.

35 year old wife and mother of 2 children, ages 7 and 4. BRCA1+ (33 at dx)

Dx 10/30/2012, IDC, <1cm, Stage II, Grade 2, 1/15 nodes, ER-/PR-, HER2-

Surgery 11/12/2012 Mastectomy (Right); Lymph Node Removal: Axillary Lymph Node Dissection (Right)

Chemotherapy 12/18/2012 Adriamycin, Cytoxan, Taxotere

Surgery 04/22/2013 Prophylactic Ovary Removal (Both)

Radiation Therapy 04/29/2013 External

Surgery 07/22/2013 Mastectomy (Left)

Surgery 01/20/2014 Reconstruction: DIEP flap (Both)
