please help me, desperate
Hi
I'm 26 and about 10 months ago noticed one breast was significantly larger than the other. I went tk my GP who said it's nothing to worry about. The asymmetry seemed to fluctuate with my menstrual cycle.
In july i started to get pain in the same size and was told it's chest wall inflammation and benign breast pain. I saw a specialist in August who said the same thing.
3 weeks ago I saw my GP again for worsening pain and vague itchiness. She said it is a completely normal breast.i've seen various doctors about 7 times about this.
In the meantime I have noticed a patch above my nipple that has prominent red veins that I think has increased in size, I now have persistent itching and burning in that area (but sometimes also in the other breast, although probably 10% of the time).
I now think the larger breast looks generally redder than the other, but I have put 1% hydrocortisone and eurax on it recently for the itching. I keep getting jumped on by my 4 year old which may explain some bruising like redness but I'm not sure.
I took a picture tonight and was horrified at the asymmetry. I haven't noticed it looking this big before, but hubby thinks it's the angle as another picture looks normal for me.
What does you think? I'm making myself ill over this.

I honestly can't see anything wrong from these pictures but if you're so worry then you should go back to your GP and get them to look into it further

7 doctors told you not to worry so I am not sure hearing it from us non medical people will make a difference. I think a conversation with your doctor regarding anxiety is what you should be doing next. All the best.

Thank you. I'm back in with a GP tomorrow but wanted to see what somebody thought with actual experience.
I have severe health anxiety and this is all consuming.

Your photos will be removed by the moderators soon - they're not allowed. Please know that IBC is extremely rare and no one on this board is qualified to make a diagnosis. You are not doing yourself any good fretting about it. You are doing the right thing by bringing up your concerns with your doctors but just know we cannot tell what is going on. Please continue to see your doctors if you still have worries. I'd also recommend reading as much as you can about IBC on these boards, if you end up with this diagnosis, but otherwise you just don't need to stress yourself over something that is highly unlikely.

I've been waiting for an appointment for cognitive behavioural therapy which has finally been arranged for wednesday.
I feel like every time I see a doctor and am reassured, I get new symptoms!
I was recently misdiagnosed with a tension headache when it was actually something more serious that could threaten my sight,I think it has made me reluctant to believe my gp.

There are forums that deal with anxiety issues that would probably be more helpful to you than a breast cancer site. I hope you find some peace.

Thank you Amy. I thought maybe somebody who has experienced it could give some insight. I will delete the post shortly.

Lvr123,
Regardless of personal experience, all insights would be reflective of our own situations, not yours. It would be very inappropriate for us to comment on any possibility based on a photo. Additionally, this is a public site and it's not advisable for members.to post breast photos. Wishing you the best.

The post doesn't need to be deleted LVR, only the photos, which I see they have.
