Taxol Side Effects - Joint Pain

I just started with Taxol on Monday of this week and today (Wednesday) am experiencing a LOT of joint pain.  I have a call into my onco to hopefully get some medication to help, as Ibuprofen isn't really doing much.  Does anyone have any at home therapies they have used to help?  TIA!

    Hi Shellibird,

    We're sure others who have been through this will weigh in with some good tips soon, but we wanted to share what we found on the main Breastcancer.org site's page on Bone and Joint Pain to help manage this side effect:

    "Hot or cold packs, or a combination of the two, can soothe sore areas. Heat can help reduce muscle spasms and cold can help reduce inflammation."
