Just venting...

Came off Femara 4 weeks ago as the bone pain was getting a bit much, and the Onc agreed that after 2 years of tamox and 2 1/2 years of AI I should be OK. Having done chemo, rads and a bi-last mast, I've done quite a bit of treatment, and frankly, I'm over it. After all, quality of life is important too.

The soreness in my shoulder wasn't getting any better and then I found a lump under the collarbone last week...Doc ordered chest x-ray (clean - yay!) and an ultrasound. Just out of the US and the tech admitted it didn't look good. So back to the Doc tomorrow as it looks like there's a lymph node under the collarbone which has turned.

Pants.

Back from the GP...he wouldn't say either way what he thought it was but it can't have a 'normal' biopsy as whatever it is has a vascular system and they'd worry about spearing a blood vessel and causing a massive bleed.

So, he's ringing the Breast Clinic in the morning to speak to the surgeon who did the mast to see if he can get me in for him to get at it instead.

Pfffftttt.
